COMPUTER TECHNICIAN (LEVEL 2)

We are currently seeking to hire a Level 2 Computer Technician to join our team of experts and contribute to our company’s growing success. The candidate will act as an advisor to customers and will propose the best technological solutions to them according to their needs. Permanent full-time position.

CORE RESPONSABILITIES:

• Identify and propose solutions to recurring customer problems, in collaboration with various stakeholders
• Participate in the implementation of technological solutions
• Provide level 1 and 2 technical support (servers and network equipment), via phone, email and in person
• Solve problems related to the configuration of applications, equipment and software used by customers
• Install and configure computer software and hardware, and network components
• Manage and supervise IT environments as well as cloud computing environments

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• DEP, AEC, DEC or BAC in computer science or equivalent training
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Microsoft certification is a major asset
• Bilingual (English & French)
• Strong customer service skills
• Autonomous and resourceful work ethic
• Professional image and attitude
• Organizational skills
• Excellent learning ability
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective communication and knowledge translation skills
• Methodological and detail-oriented approach
• Valid driver’s license and access to a car

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, Active Directory, Windows 7, 8, 10
• Excellent knowledge of IT networks DHCP, DNS, IPv4, VLAN, VPN
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 solutions
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure is an asset
• Basic knowledge of Linux is an asset
• Basic knowledge of VMWare ESX / VSPhere is an asset
• Watchguard firewall, Sonicwall
